She was predeceased by: her parents, Dhanabhai Vallabh Patel and Jeliben Dhanabhai Patel; her husband Ramanlal Surati; and her daughter Arunaben C. Patel. She is survived by: her sons, Pradip (Vasanti Surati), Haresh (Pravina Surati) and Rakesh (Shilpa Surati). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
