He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mobley Webb and Annie Moore Webb; his wife Bassie Bohannon Webb; his grandson Derek James Webb; his son-in-law Dan Rakestraw; and his siblings, Odell Webb, Helen Moricle, Louise Livengood and Barbara Smith.
He is survived by: his children, James Moore Webb, Jr. (Cheryl) and Lisa W. Rakestraw; his grandchildren, Josh Taylor (Katherine), Jordan Webb, John Webb and Julia W. Dunn (Dylan); and his sister Jacqueline Shepherd. He is also survived by his friends, neighbors, family, extended family and was very proud of his grandchildren.
