He was predeceased by: his grandson Adam Hancock; and his siblings, Harry Hancock, Lucille Redmond, Margaret Parsons and Mauyer Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Terry Hancock; his sons, Jimmy Hancock (Teresa), Roger Hancock (Lannie) and Allen Hancock (Leeanna); his grandchildren, Jeremy Hancock, Jamie Hancock, Eva Odom-Galler, Bryan Hancock and Shelly Steele; and his sisters, Sue Dray, Ella Mae Snipes and Joann Mercer.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral service will be held privately in the Mausoleum of Richmond County Memorial Park.
