She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melton and Ollie Carpenter Melton; her husband William "Bill" Scott Hogan, Sr.; her son William Scott Hogan, Jr.; and her brothers, John Pope, Bill Pope, Donnie Melton, Mitchell Melton and Rodney Melton.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Hodges (Allen), Brian Steven (Patricia) and Kimberly Hogan; her grandchildren, Courtney Hogan, Mitchell Hodges (Toni), Holli Brown (Justin), Hillary Hogan, Madison Hogan and William Greene; her great grandchildren, Noah Hogan, Chandler Garner, Aleigha Hogan, Jed Hodges, Liam Hodges, Lexi Brown, Lilly Brown, Maelyn Blount, Everleigh Blount, Landon Blount and Sutton Hogan; her great great grandchild Elleighana Hogan; and her brother Jimmy "Banjo" Melton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watson-King Funeral Home (132 Southwood Dr, Rockingham, NC 28379). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of God of Prophecy (139 Flowers St, Rockingham, NC 28379).
