He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Davis Hughes, Sr. and Virginia McGee Hughes; and his brother Jimmy Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hughes; his daughters, Karla Hughes Holsclaw (Steven) and Robin Hughes Kennedy (Michael Price); his grandchildren, Jeff and Caroline Holsclaw; and his sisters, Harriet Hadley and Margaret King (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
