She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Lampley and Mary Strickland Lampley; her husband Walter Thomas; and her daughter Mary Katherine Roscoe. She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Katie Roscoe; and her grandson Jack Roscoe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church or to the Free Will Baptist Children's Home.
