She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Terry and Pearlie Terry; her husband James Wilson Hancock; her grandson Adam Hancock; and her sisters, Pauline Dawkins, Ruby Smith, Shirley Ludlum and Hazel Dawkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Hancock (Teresa), Roger Hancock (Lannie) and Allen; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hancock, Bryan Hancock, Shelly Steele, Eva Odom-Galler and Jamie Hancock; and her sisters, Mabel Moore, Mary Francis Renegar, Barbara Smith and Patsy McDonald.
