It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue (Prather) Cowen (Rockingham, North Carolina), born in Oakland, California, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 65, after battling cancer, leaving to mourn, her daughter Shannon Cowen, her son, Trever Cowen, her ex-husband Cliff Cowen, her 2 stepsons, James and Brian Cowen, her 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 21st 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the King's Gate Church (161 Sierra Avenue, Hamlet, North Carolina 28345).
