She was predeceased by: her parents, Rorer Talbott and Maude Francis Talbott; her husband Tom Spencer; her daughter Sandra Haigler; and her siblings, Allen Talbott, Donna Lawson, Doris Smith and Elsie Chilton.
She is survived by: her sister Dolly Hopkins of Eden; her grandchildren, Tanya Donnelly (Latham) of Greensboro, Lori Burgart of Winston-Salem and Jay Burgart (Jennifer) of Newland; her great grandchildren, Kati and Kesha Gibson of Danville; her great great grandchild Brayla; and her parents-in-law, Jack and Joyce Burgart of Stoneville.
