She is survived by: her children, Roderick T. and Tammy N. Simpson; her grandson Elijah A. Simpson; her husband Deacon Henry A. Simpson; her sisters, Sherion Murphy (Thomas), Gaydrenel Palmer and Joy Palmer (Erica); her grandchildren, Asia and Elijah Simpson; her aunt Yvonne Millner; her uncles, James Smith and Adolphus Keesee; her sister-in-law Florence Simpson; and her close friends, Gail Favors, Prophetess Portia Hopper and Kathy Robinson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
