He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Mitchell; his brother Harry Mitchell; his wife Shirley Henderson Mitchell; his daughters, Jewel Mitchell and Toya Mitchell; his granddaughter Brittany Mitchell; his brother Hassell Mitchell, Jr. (Shirley); and his parents-in-law, Mary Fannie Graves (Joshua), Charles Henderson, Sr. (Mary Alice), Louis Earl Henderson (Ocie), Deborah Paylor and Michael Henderson (Angela). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
