It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Pinnix Mitchell of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Graves Pinnix and Sylvester Neal Pinnix; her sister Sylvia Pinnix; and her niece Mechelle Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jayfus Mitchell; her daughters, Lovette McRae (Robert) and Andrea Mitchell; her grandchildren, Donovan Thomas, Taylor Mc Neill and Dominque Elliott; her siblings, Kameeleon "Puddin" Smith (Marvin), Jeffrey Pinnix (Vernell), Monroe Pinnix (Dorothy) and Lamont Pinnix (Barbara); her aunts, Charlotte Harrison and Connie Blackwell; her uncle Roy Pinnix; her brothers-in-law, Clayton Mitchell (Vicky) and Curtis Mitchell (Vickie); and her friends, Paula Tillotson-Sanchez, Donna Handy, Sally Bason, Wendy Nelson, Christine McKinney, Geraldine Boyd, Deena Jones, Jan Jones, Karen Jones, Beverly Jones, Joanne Courts-Settle, Regina Gorrell, Joyce Courts-Massey, Libby Shull and Gay Borland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
