She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Stubbs and Ruby Ezzell Stubbs of Bladen County; her husband Burley McDuffie; her son Terry Scott Smith; and her siblings, Rosalee Stubbs, Linda Appleby, Norman Stubbs, Jr., Clyde Stubbs and George Frank Stubbs.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Wayne Smith (Denise McGhee-Smith) of Rockingham and Michael Craig Branch (Helen) of Clarkton, NC; and her siblings, Louise Bullard of Cordova, Alice Brock of Hamlet, Ruby Shaw (Gene) of Chadburn and Livingston Ray Stubbs (Diane) of Maryland. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
