She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lula Summers Pinnix and Stiener Pinnix; her husband Haywood Harris, Sr.; her siblings, Christine Latta, Mattie Hanner, Betty Jo Walker, Lena Mitchell, Essey Pinnix, Bill Pinnix and Jimmy Pinnix; her sons, James Harris (Cathy) and Haywood Harris, Jr.; her sister Lula Mae Brand; and her close friends, Anniece Foster, Clara, Louise Stubblefield, Ruth Blackwell and Willie Mae Moore. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
