He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Mc Collum Watlington and Percy Ellington; and his brother James Arthur Slade. He is survived by: his sister Gloria Watlington Peele; his wife Faith Rinehardt Watlington; his daughters, Samantha Watlington and Jasmine Watlington; his granddaughter Skylar Jackson; his brothers, Charles Watlington (Sherry) and John Watlington (Josephine); his siblings' children, Virginia Watlington Dickerson (Kenny), Robert and Wendell Watlington; and his close friend Elder Jackson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
