Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rufus Pinkney Glidewell (Rockingham, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 84, on May 13, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fred Glidewell and Elsie Fagge Glidewell; his wife Nancy Moore Glidewell; and his sisters, Annie Ruth Simmons and Lottie.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Glidewell and Brian Glidewell (Joanna); his grandchildren, Dustin Glidewell, Keagan Glidewell, Hannah Glidewell and Emily Glidewell; and his sister Frances Hill. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Richmond County Memorial Park, due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cordova Baptist Church.
