He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Howard Blackwell, Sr. and Dorothy Powell Siddle; his stepfather Rev. James Wesley Siddle; his sisters, Wynona Siddle and Willie Mae Kirture; and his niece Paris K. Siddle.
He is survived by: his wife Charlie Mae Blackwell; his children, Spencer H. Blackwell, III, Christopher K. Blackwell and Michelle C. Switzer (Adrian); and his siblings, Maudeva Willis, James D. Siddle, Shelby S. Williams, Deborah S. Williamson (Bobby) and Major A. Siddle (Retha). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
