He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Currie and Ivery King Currie. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Atkins Currie; his sons, Fletcher Currie and Ronald Currie (Stephanie) of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Summer Lynn Currie of Rockingham and Gavin Barnes of Rockingham; and his siblings, Frances C. Nicholson of Greensboro, NC, Henry Currie (Melinda) of Ellerbe, Mary C. Byrd (Harris) of Mt. Gilead, Ray Currie (Debbie) of Rockingham and Kathy C. Allen (Roger) of Rockingham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
