It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Wayne Outen of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carson Outen and Frances O'Neal Outen; his wife Shirley Outen; his daughter Penny Outen Brown (Dee); and his siblings, Nettie, Ruth, Myrtle Folsom, Jack, Henry, Charlie, Bill and James Outen.

He is survived by : his children, Donna Gunter (Woody), Tom Outen (Mandy) and Terry Simmons (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Crystal Marks, Charlie Terry, Rebecca Gunter, Weston Outen, Will Gunter and Caroline Gunter; his great grandchildren, Kynlee and Kysley Marks; and his sister Frances Warner.
