It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Preston Martin of Rockingham, North Carolina, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Martin and Vera Parris Martin; and his siblings, Charles Martin, Merrill Martin and Coleen Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Diggs Martin; his children, Toni Martin McRae, Chris Martin McDonald (Mike), Traci Martin Batson (Clay), Deanna Martin Kimball (Joey) and Preston Scott Martin (Lori); his grandchildren, Laura McRae, Ricky McRae, Brian McDonald, Joni McDonald, Brandy Prisk (Corey), Amanda Batson, Carly Batson, Hailey Scott, Addison Martin and Cayden Martin; his great grandchildren, Nolan Roberson, Cash Chappell, Ayden Batson, Jayce Prisk and Leiana Prisk; and his sister Marilyn Page. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully asks that all attending the service in-person and attending the visitation please wear a mask.
