He is survived by: his siblings, Lucinda Millner and Freddie Lee; his wife Birdie Lane Pass; his children, Carla Paige (Kelvin), Perry Pass, Scotty Pass and James Neal, Jr.; his siblings, Carrie Bell Pass, Rhodie Johnson and Franklin Pass; his aunts, Margaret Whitt (Walter) and Annie Mae Williamson; his siblings-in-law, Marie Williamson, Debra Russell (James), Janie Mullins (Henry), Patricia Dejournette, Christine Lane, Kippi King, Lawrence Lane (Deborah) and Ray Lane (Deborah); his cousins, Willie Pass and Ritchetta Pass Hatchett; and his foster brother Avon Bailey. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
