He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Norman Gay, Sr. and Edna Bradley Gay; his wife Emily Stowe Gay; his son Aaron G. Gay, Jr.; and his siblings, Norman Gay, Jr., Gladys Morris and Louise Emma Peacock.
He is survived by: his son Kent Stowe Gay; and his granddaughters, Sierra and Jamie Gay.
