It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Faye Moore of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Carolyn Faye is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She is survived by: her sons, Cornell Moore of Clinton, NC and Cedric A. Moore of Clayton, NC; and her brothers, Larry W. Carter, Sr. of Fayetteville, NC and Arnold D. Carter, Sr. of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (900 College St, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greater SIX Runs Missionary Baptist Church (400 6 Runs Church Rd, Turkey, NC 28383). A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (3620 Roseboro Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328).
