She was predeceased by: her parents, Donna Protan Caldwell and Lawrence Lee Thurmond I; and her brother Lawrence Lee Thormond II. She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Searcy of Rocky Mount, NC.; her siblings, Hal Thurmond of Charleston, WV and Melissa Mobley (Edward Mobley); and her friend Vicky Lassiter.
