He is survived by: his wife Velma Richardson; his son Lance Richardson (Alicia) of High Point, NC; and his brothers, Raymond Richardson (Fran) of Pinehurst, NC, Edward Richardson (Rita) of Atlanta, GA, Claude Ortis Richardson (Mary) of Hotus, NJ, Milton Richardson of Rocky Mount, NC, Lawrence Richardson (Joanne) of Sparta, NJ, Jasper Richardson of Enfield, NC and Jackie Richardson (Carol) of Hollister, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
