She was predeceased by : her parents, George Jackson and Pearl O'Dell Jackson; her husband Reverend Wilmer Truman; her stepfather John Danbury; and her sisters, Billie Kauff, Helen Walsh and Monna Kay Damron.
She is survived by : her siblings, Garrett Jackson, Jane Seacrist, Sue Giacomo, Lois McGuire, Doug Danbury and Carol Wingett; her daughter Julia; her son-in-law Gary Buzzard; her daughter Sandra; her son-in-law Michael Bickham; her son Timothy; her daughter-in-law Beth Truman; her daughter Cindi; and her son-in-law Shawn Whiteside.
She didn't want anyone to go hungry, so in lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
