He is survived by: his wife Lynn Overby; his children, John "Robby" Overby and Misty Blakely (Preston) of Ruffin; his grandchildren, Cameron, Katelyn, Little Robby, Kendall, Noah, Gunnar and Madelyn; his great grandchild Scarlet; his sisters, Vicky Overby, Gail Gibbs and Karen Johnson; his pets, Bear and Wags; and his nephew Bobby Overby.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Mayfield Baptist Church, 8936 NC Highway 700, Ruffin, NC 27326 in his memory.
