She was predeceased by: her grandmother Thelma Rae Scronce Preslar; her husband William Parks Preslar, Sr. (Bill); her children, Lucy Hyatt Krites and Marvin Ray Preslar; her parents, William Beverly Scronce and Lucy Peeler Scronce; and her siblings, Willam C. Scronce (Pat), Roby Lee Scronce (Mildred) and Mary Marlene Scronce Hyatt (Gordon).
She is survived by: her children, William Parks Preslar, Jr. (late Janet) of Skiatook, OK, Beverly Clyde Preslar (Carol) of Charlotte, NC and Margaret Preslar Hash (Sonny) of Reidsville, NC..
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Ruffin-Stacey Baptist Church (261 Estes Rd, Ruffin, NC 27326). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 4:15 PM at the Evergreen Memory Gardens (7875 US-158, Reidsville, NC 27320).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or to Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church, 261 Estes Road, Ruffin, NC 27326.
