He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Benson Cole, Sr. and Annie Pearl Greene Cole; and his son Jermy Cole. He is survived by: his wife Susie Cole; his children, Richard Blake of Rutherfordton, Stephanie Suzanne Bearden (Stephen) of Greenville and Ashley Cole of Rutherfordton; his brother Mark Cole (Tammy) of Shiloh; his aunt Nancy Childers of Rutherfordton; and his grandchildren, Junior, Olivia and Zoe Bearden.
