We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2020, at the age of 73, Dixie Proctor of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert McKinney and Mary Clara Taylor Linstrom; and her brother Herbert McKinney. She is survived by : her husband Bennie Proctor; her daughters, Lynda Johnston (Brian), Leah Pratt (Michael) and Laura "Lars" Haseltine (Ben); her siblings, Michael McKinney (Claudia) and Patricia Cassida (Don); and her grandchildren, Toney Johnston (Tayler), Dade Paul, Elloree Adele, Alana Dixie, Meridian Ciel and Brannen Wallace.
