It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Beheler of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Caldwell Belton Smith and Bessie Ridings Smith; her spouse Landrum Beheler; her siblings, Whitfield Smith, Lionell Smith, Josephine Liles and Arlene Thompson; and her great grandchild Lindsay Cooper.
She is survived by: her son Hayward Smith (Kathie); her grandchildren, Lisa Cooper, Amy Smith, Lauren Beheler and Luke Beheler; her great grandchildren, Amanda Jarrell, Adam Cooper, Justin Smith, Riley Smith and Nathan Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Brook Jarrell, Cooper Jarrell, Mason Jarrell, Kendrick Beach, Duncan Jarrell, Marlee Jarrell and Cade Cooper.
The wearing of a mask and social distancing is required to attend the service.
