She was predeceased by : her parents, George P. Simmons and Edna Mae Skinner Simmons; her husband Jerry Glenn Hardin; and her brothers, William, Thomas and Marshall Simmons.
She is survived by : her close friend David Harmon; her children, Amy Hardin of Rutherfordton and Jeff Hardin (Vanghi) of Monroe, NC; her siblings, Jerry Simmons (Ann) of Iron Station, NC, Bobby Simmons (Martha) of Clover, SC and Marie Adams (Bob) of Morehead, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Haley Hardin and Colton Hardin; and her pets, Charlie, Sammy and Kelsey.
