She is survived by : her mother Naomi Edwards Yelton of Rutherfordton; her children, Lindsey Edwards Britt (Michael Daul) of Durham, NC and Logan Alexander Britt (Ashley) of Charlotte, NC.; her granddaughters, Naomi Olive Daul and Mavis Margaret Daul; her brother Charlie Yelton (Emily) of Lake Lure, NC; her nephews, Robert Yelton (Misty) of Rutherfordton and Michael Yelton (Michelle) of Lake Lure, NC; and her great-nephews, Jackson and Ryan Yelton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue (http://www.heartofthefoothills.org) or First United Methodist Church (264 N. Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139) and designated for the Friendship Club.
