With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Thomas of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Thomas and Ellajean Thomas; and his siblings, Jimmy Thomas and Pat Lawson. He is survived by : his wife Roberta Thomas; his sons, Ryan (Stephanie Thomas) and Nathan (Megan Thomas); his grandchildren, Paige Thomas, Hannah Thomas, Owen Thomas and Paxson Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Adrian and Michael.
