She is survived by: her children, Donna Gaines (Scott) of Forest City, Lori Toms of South Carolina and John McKinney of Rutherfordton; her siblings, Betty Crowder (Earl), Nellie Taylor, Margaret Mode (Steve), Carolyn Yarborough (Bookter), Ernestine Bradley, Connie Henderson, Howard Patterson (Hazel), Bo Patterson (Martha) and Ronnie Patterson (Renee); and her grandchildren, Jessica Bradley (Adam), Jamilah Toms (Brian), D. J. Toms, Jason Gaines and Greg Toms. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
