It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Bass Jr. of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bass and Rosemary Lilibridge Bass Russell; and his daughter Amanda Rose McCraven. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kaye Bass; and his son Jason. He is also survived by three grandsons, three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter; one brother and one sister.
