With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Samuel Fisher Jr. of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel Fisher, Sr. and Iris Gertrude Mauldin Fisher; and his stepson David Muncy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Fisher; his children, John S. Fisher III of Rockwell, Amy Fisher Hecker (Ahren) of Davidson and Kaycie Fisher of Salisbury; his stepson Roger Muncy (Diane) of Statesville; his sister Judy Wyrick; his half-brother Ira Mauldin; his grandchildren, Max Hecker and Lainey Fisher; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Muncy, Jason Torrence and Lakelyn Kennedy. He is also survived by three step-great grandchildren.
