She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph Gand; and her daughter Joan Gand. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Linhart (Randolph) and Laura Covill; her grandchildren, Anna Dickenson (Josh), Rachel Linhart, Randolph Linhart III, Paul Covill (Bridget) and Alex Covill (Virginia); her great grandchildren, Danial, Jacob Dickenson, Hunter, Kinley, Jackson and Bennett Covill; and her siblings, Dorothy Schmidt and Otto Schmitt.
