He was predeceased by: his parents, Venon Sprinkle and Billie Ann Badger Sprinkle; his wife Cathy Elizabeth Carriker Sprinkle; his daughter Amanda Rae Sprinkle; and his brother Glenn Sprinkle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angelina Elizabeth Kauffman of Salisbury, NC and Amber Renee Sprinkle of Salisbury, NC; his sisters, Eva Foley Turner (Johnny) of China Grove, NC, Nora Ridenhour (Smokey) of Holden Beach, NC and April Sechler (Mike) of Salisbury, NC; and his grandchildren, Alex Lee Yates, Hailie Marie Hulsey, Julian Ray Kauffman, Matthew Thomas Kauffman (Julie Ann Hamm) and Rosco.
