He was predeceased by : his parent Thomas Martin; and his sister Mae Watt. He is survived by : his parent Alpha Hobbs Darlington; his wife Betty Jo Allison Darlington; his children, Terri Lee Kilpatrick of Hendersonville, Renee Rutley (Ron) of Hendersonville and Tommy Darlington of Saluda; his grandchildren, Zachary Schell (Alessa Geboff), Jenn Boughter (Tim), Kenny Rutley, Melissa Zimmerman (Chris), Jennifer Horton, Christopher Rutley and Michael Rutley; and his great grandchildren, Malachi Boughter and Jackson Boughter.
