He is survived by: his wife Margaret Tilley Hinson; his children, Jimmie Hinson, Jr. (Tiffany), Debbie Hinson of Hilton Florida and Emma Hinson of Jacksonville Florida; his stepchildren, Ashley Alexander (James) of Belews Creek and Kevin Joyce (Emma) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Bryan Hinson, Jonathan Hinson, Marie Mabe, Justin Mabe, William Mabe, Kevin Sold and Michelle Caponera; his stepgrandchildren, James Alexander, Jr., Neal Alexander, Taylore Joyce and Madelyn Joyce; his great grandchild Willow Scyoc; and his nieces, Jessica Hinson and Rebecca Hinson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
