He was predeceased by: his parent Joretta Wall Joyce; his grandparents, Glenn C. Joyce, Doris Carter Hughes and Earlene Morton; and his stepgrandfather W. T. "Dub" Morton.
He is survived by: his father Glenn "Bob" Carter Joyce; his wife Chris Brim Joyce; his sons, Nickolas Castine Joyce and Joshua Ryan Joyce; his granddaughter Soar Duggins; and his sister Nicole Joyce Jessup (Scott).
