He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. Haymore and Mary Elizabeth Layne Haymore; and his siblings, Larry Haymore, Yvonnie Moody and Linda Norris.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Chavis Haymore; his children, Timmer Jamerson of Cameron, Kelly Ray Chavis (Rosyln) of Lumberton, Brady Oliver (Wendy) of Olivia, Penny Capps (Rick) of Sanford, Wayne Haymore of Sanford and Wilson Haymore (Melanie) of Sanford; and his siblings, Betty Salmon, Alma Clark and Billy Haymore. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
