She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gordon Womble and Lobera Johnson Womble; and her brother Gerald Womble. She is survived by: her husband David Dowdy; her children, Rev. Kenneth Dowdy (Robin) and Cynthia Parker (Mike); her brothers, Raymond Womble (Peggy) of Sanford and Wayne Womble (Dorothy) of Sanford; her grandchildren, Alison Dowdy Brown (Kye), Hanna Dowdy, Blake, Jordan Lanier, Cody Lanier (Katlynn), Casey Lanier, Michaela Parker and John Parker (Shannon); and her great grandchildren, Matthew Hampson, James Allen Lanier, Sarah Lanier, Ella Parker and Braxton Brown.
