It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ray Stone of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jesse James Stone; and his siblings, Janie Hilliard, J. C. Stone, Billie Cummings, Margaret Cameron, Faye Fosnough and Gilbert "Mack" Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sharpe Stone; his children, Rhonda S. Cameron (Mack) of Sanford, Jimmy Scott Stone (Donna) of Fuquay Varina and Rae S. Campbell (Jeff) of Sanford; his grandchildren, Jessica Gregory, Kaitlyn Bryant, Trevor Stone, L'oreal Jones, Andrew Jones, Chase Campbell, Chance Campbell and Mallory Campbell; his great grandchildren, Charles Bryant, Eden Bryant, Gentry Gregory, Slade Gregory, Kiley Dixon and Suttyn Foushee; and his friend Harvey Godfrey.
