It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Dawn (Shivas) Thompson (Sanford, North Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Graham Shivas and Marion Leslie Travers; and her siblings, Graham Shivas, Judy Anderson, Janet Searfoss and Patricia Farrell.
She is survived by: her husband Bill (Bill); her son Stephen Shivas (Sandie) of New Zealand; her grandchildren, Eyzac, Elese, Olivia, Mikaela, Daniella, Maegan, James, Jesse and Sophia; and her siblings, Colin Woods, Donna Meron and Margaret Worcheski. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and two stepchildren.
