It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madeline Campbell (Sanford, North Carolina), who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Brooks and Mollie Thomas Brooks; her husband Alton Campbell; and her siblings, Willie Brooks, Eloise Burke, Wilma Lemons, D. C. Brooks, Russell Brooks, Hoke Brooks and Edwin Brooks.

She is survived by: her daughter MaryAnn Cramer; her son-in-law David of Raleigh; her granddaughters, Sarah Ames (Daniel) of Boone and Alyssa Vest of Houston, Texas; her stepgrandchildren, Sean Cramer and Kailyn Cramer of Raleigh; and her sister Marjorie Johnson of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Madeline's wish was that donations be made to Jonesboro United Methodist Church, 407 West Main Street, Sanford, NC 27332, and designated to youth scholarships and outreach.
