He is survived by: his parents, Paul Henkel and Jean Henkel; his siblings, Colie, Rusty, Ken, Cyndi and Sheila; his wife Michelle; his sons, Travis and Jason; his granddaughter Lilly; his stepchildren, Alex and Megan; his stepgrandchildren, Conley, Haven and Carter; Jean.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Covenant Church (14514 Lucia Riverbend Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Upstate Community Hospice House, located at 260 Fairwinds Dr, Landrum, SC 29356, in Rodney's name.
