She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellery Roy Shreckengast and Sarah Emma Martin Shreckengast; her husband Whit Hugh Jernigan; her daughter Cruzella "Cruzie" Ann Jernigan; and her siblings, Warren Martin "Mart", Roy Benard "Pete", John Martin Shreckengast, Barbara Sanford and Nancy Balban.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy J. Woolard (Calvin) of Aulander, NC and Craig Jernigan (Kelly) of Lewisburg, PA; and her grandchildren, Aaron Harvey (Lisa) of Laurelton, PA, Jonah Harvey of Laurelton, PA, Rachel Shively of Laurelton, PA, Brandon A. Hux and Noah D. Wheeler of Northampton County.
