It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julian Wood Selig Jr. of Seaboard, North Carolina, born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Betsey Blades Selig; his sister Betty Lou Barnes; and also Hall Barnes. He is survived by : his children, Dr. Wood Selig (Ellen) of Norfolk, VA and Susan Selig Classen (Carl) of Kitty Hawk, NC; his grandchildren, Lex Selig, Nick Selig, Julianna Selig and Carrietta Classen; his stepgrandchildren, Ben (Ally) and Jen Classen; and his niece Julia Barnes Weise of Durham.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, any memorial plans will be announced later.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
